Sourcing Your Supplements: 3 Reasons to Reconsider Where you Shop

In today’s era we have access to what feels like limitless possibilities to shop. When shopping often we keep in mind, quality, price, but there are a couple other things to consider.

1. What are you buying?

Often in my first or second appointment, if a patient already is taking supplements, we review their ingredients. I like to start with the “Other Ingredients” list, which is where we can find many not so great things.

My top things to avoid are:

-Soy or Corn

-Artificial colors/dyes

-Propylene Glycol

2. Where are you buying?

My friend recently told me she “votes” with her “dollars”, and I thought it was brilliant!

While big online retailers can make our lives a little more convenient at the moment, it often just takes 2 min to go to a different site that supports local people.

Many professional brands help support and advance natural medicine, while some other brands are just in it for the revenue.

3. What are you getting back?

When I work with patients, I’m looking at the costs, the quantity, and give each patient 10% off any and all orders, and often a few times per year participate in extra sales, like Black Friday coming up.

I give expertise in picking out a perfect supplement that is in line with our treatment plan.

If you aren’t already doing so, I’ll kindly ask for your support, shop with our online store, which supports our medical practice, and in return know that what you\’re getting is top quality with affordability in mind.
